Create a safer environment by keeping people who don’t belong away from employees, students and staff. Securing entrances to school buildings, offices, classrooms and other key areas greatly enhances campus security and student and personnel safety -- and fosters an environment more conducive to thriving in the workplace or classroom.
In a K-12 environment, ScholarChip's access control system is integrated into the centralized platform, requiring no additional software or management tools. Card holder access privileges are added or removed automatically based on your school's management systems (SIS), such as Powerschool, ensuring a secure and easily managed system. Only one card is active for any individual at a time. Lost or stolen cards can be deactivated instantly.
ScholarChip supports Pure IP-based access control systems.
Features & Benefits:
Traditional access control solution using low-voltage RS485 cable run from control panel to reader and from reader to electronic lock. The control panel connects to a local network.
Pure IP Based
Each secure door uses an "intelligent" reader and connects back to the control panel via Ethernet. The reader connects to an electronic lock via low-voltage wiring. Each reader is essentially its own controller.
A wireless controller (PIM) connects via Ethernet to a local network. Wireless door locks (such as Schlage AD400) connect back to the PIM.
