Finding the right badge holder may seem daunting. What size, what materials, 2-cards, 3-cards, with or without slots for lanyards? Let’s focus on the badge holder size for today. Most plastic ID cards are 3.375” x 2.125”, commonly known as 80/30, so you’ll need about .25” larger in both height and width – a little more if your cards will be punched. At Bridgeway Solutions, we have a variety of vinyl and plastic badge holder options to choose from. Our e-store badge holder item descriptions include the inner dimensions (the area in which the ID card, name tag, etc. will go) of each card holder. These are just a few of our card holder options: Shop our e-store to find your perfect badge holder.

There are two types of cleaning cards - presoaked in a cleaning solution and adhesive. Either will clean the printer’s rollers, which is the mechanism that pulls the cards through the printing process. Cleaning cards remove dust, grime, and oils from blank plastic or PVC cards to prime them before they move to the printing sequence to protect the printhead and ensure quality printing. If your card printer is producing blurry or splotchy cards, the fix may be as simple as cleaning the printer. Simply insert the cleaning card per manufacturer’s instructions so that your printer produces high quality graphics and text. It’s a good idea to run a cleaning card through your card printer with each ribbon change. New, boxed Datacard printer ribbons include a cleaning card. Don’t throw it away – use it. Maintain your machine -- keep it running longer, performing at its best.
Plastic card printer ribbons and retransfer card printer ribbons come in several yield counts, most commonly 250 to 500 images per roll.
