![]() Bridgeway Solutions is still celebrating after a successful Salamander™ deployment at Super Bowl LIII. Bridgeway’s Senior Technician Wayne Peck, Technical Sales Consultant Gene Hawkins, Technician Rich Billig and volunteer Julie Peck assisted Atlanta-Fulton County Emergency Management Agency (AFCEMA) with tagging and tracking personnel and equipment. Early in 2018, Hawkins, an Atlanta native, reached out to AFCEMA representatives to offer Salamander solutions and Bridgeway personnel support for responder tagging and tracking at Super Bowl 53. In the days preceding the Super Bowl, Hawkins and the Bridgeway team used SalamanderLive, ID Designer, Command and Track as part of the AFCEMA security and safety management plan. The primary focus for Bridgeway’s team was badging and tracking emergency medical units (EMTs) and their vehicles as they arrived at the EOC. Using SalamanderLive™, custom IDs were created and issued to city and county responders, including representatives from Fulton, Gwinnett, Roswell, Cobb, Clayton, Atlanta City, and College Park. Using Command and Track, each individual and piece of equipment was scanned into an assignment to enable their placement on-scene to be followed in real-time. Salamander’s Command solution provides optimal situational awareness and the Track App monitors responders as they move from assignment to assignment. Salamander’s GIS solution uses satellite mapping to plot up-to-the-moment responder locations via the Track App installed on a smart phone or device. Super Bowl LIII participation allowed Bridgeway's team to provide AFCEMA with a real-life experience showcasing SalamanderLive’s interoperability, real-time situational awareness, and advanced reporting features.
